Life Transition Therapy in Georgia & Florida

Online Therapy for Women in Georgia & Florida

Are you struggling to find yourself in your current stage of life?

Maybe you find yourself arguing with your partner more and more, or perhaps you have little patience with your children. You may feel stuck in your place of work or are grieving a recent loss.

Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, you’re beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:

  • Struggling to understand or express your needs

  • Unable to engage in or enjoy social activities

  • Difficulty managing your day to day without feelings of overwhelm

Life Transition Therapy can help

It may feel impossible now, but you can thrive in all aspects of your life again. You can feel connected to yourself and others. You can feel confident in your decision making. And I can help you get there.

Life Transition Therapy helps you:

  • Identify the root of the problems you’re experiencing

  • Understand how outside stressors affect your daily functioning

  • Be in relationship with the parts that will guide through every day life in a more harmonic way

I’ll help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to Life Transition Therapy is an effective combination of my training in Internal Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. This combination creates a place of radical self compassion, non judgemental awareness and how thoughts and feelings can dictate your behaviors.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I use a combination of Internal Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to increase self awareness, self love and create necessary change.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative, evidence-based model that helps people heal by accessing and loving their protective and wounded inner parts. We believe the mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing. Just like members of a family, inner parts are forced from their valuable states into extreme roles within us. We also all have a core Self. Self is in everyone. It can’t be damaged. It knows how to heal. By helping people first access their Self and, from that core, come to understand and heal their parts, IFS creates inner and outer connectedness (Richard C. Schwartz, 2000). I am currently Level 2 Trained with the IFS Institute.

Attachment-Based Therapy explores how one’s childhood experiences might impact their ability to form meaningful bonds as adults. In attachment-based therapy, therapists work with people who need help rebuilding trust in relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy is an increasingly popular approach aimed at helping clients to increase relaxation while removing negative or stressful judgments. This technique helps to teach clients how to deal with emotional stressors reflectively instead of reflexively (Hofmann et al., 2010).

  • I generally recommend to work together for at least 6 months, but we can assess this more based on your individual needs. I want to meet you wherever you are in your life, and support you accordingly.

  • If you go to the “contact” page you can request a free phone consultation. During this consultation we will briefly review your needs, assess if we are the right fit for each other, answer your questions, and what the next step will be after that.
